The highlight of a better than usual Warley this year for me was the Broom Junction layout re-enacting a late 1920s era Banana special with appropriate SMJ class 3F power. The train arrived from the Gloucester direction and reversed before taking the SMJ route as i supposed it would have had to do pre WW2, although I think a 4F running chimney first might have been in charge.
